As 2025 working year draws to a close, we want to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who’s supported MIDA along the way.

This year was particularly meaningful as we celebrated our 5th anniversary, a milestone made possible by the trust of our clients, the dedication of our subcontractors and suppliers, and the commitment of our incredible team.

Please note that the MIDA office will close at 5:00pm tomorrow (Friday, December 19, 2025) and will reopen at 8:00am on Friday, January 2, 2026.

Gëzuar Ditën e Pavarësisë! (Happy Albanian Independence Day)

Today marks the anniversary of Albania’s Declaration of Independence from the Ottoman Empire, proclaimed by Ismail Qemali, Albania’s first Prime Minister and the All-Albanian Congress on 28 November 1912, establishing the modern Albanian state.

We extend our warmest wishes to all Albanians across MIDA and beyond as they celebrate their proud history and beautiful homeland.

We’re pleased to report strong progress at our Newport Pagnell site for with approx. 30 plots now successfully handed over to the client. The show home area and pump station are currently under construction, while Phase 1 infrastructure works (including drainage and roads) are now complete.

We have a team currently focused on Phase 2 infrastructure works, which is where this great photo was taken.

Great effort by everyone on site for keeping the momentum going!

Nertil is being recognised for his exceptional work onsite in Stanton Cross P17. His commitment to high standards & attention to detail have ensured consistent quality outcomes that benefit the entire project.

We’re proud to share that we’ve successfully achieved re-certification for ISO 45001, 14001, and 9001 for the next three years! This recognition confirms that we have a mature and robust business management system in place.

A huge thank you to all departments for your dedication and participation in the recent ISO audit. Special recognition goes to the audited sites (Houghton Regis - Julian Botea & Land West of Hemel - Besnik Beqaj) both passing with zero non-conformances!

MIDA held a great session on our site in Hemel with Mabey Hire, hosted by Jasmine Read (Sales Manager) and Joe Waller (Temporary Works expert).

It was a pleasure to invite our client team including Graham Carter (Project Manager) and Michael Clifford (H&S) from Barratt Homes join us, who gave positive feedback on the presentation & appreciated the opportunity for open discussion.

The session was informative and well-received, with strong engagement and great questions from both the MIDA and Barratts teams.
