These internal oak doors were something of an enigma to source, we were looking to split an oversized lounge diner into separate rooms yet still bring the light through.

I finally found this pair via and couldn't be happier with the style, it's exactly what I had in mind to compliment the 6 additional oak doors we had provided and installed within the property.










They're finished in Liberon Black Bison wax which is my all time favourite real wood finish

It's only taken me 15 months to actually post the finished project! What can I say, I'm extremely busy!

We are currently 3/4 complete on a whole bungalow renovation in Brace Bridge Heath in Lincoln with a kitchen designed and installed by me and supplied by

Next up is a large kitchen in Sleaford which I am currently designing and looking to use Wren, Wickes or Homebase. It all depends on coming up with the goods, we are currently in talks with their Lincoln branch!!

Lots of interesting Bespoke projects in the pipe so look out for them in the near future.

Is it just me or do other tradespeople leave a message on large projects in the hope that they will be read when we are long gone?

I always like to leave words of encouragement for the future workers to find.

I'd like to think that years from now when my work is done and I'm all but forgotten that someone will be taking my work apart and saying, 'Those old timers did things right, they went the extra mile!'

2023 has almost come to an end, my current project continues after the New Year and for 3 weeks I have been pushing so hard to progress and knock things into shape.

I find so much satisfaction in putting all the preparation into my projects and then all of a sudden they come to life!

I remember as an apprentice being part of a 150 strong team of electricians, we would work for months (Sometimes years) alongside all the other trades and thinking to myself, 'This project is never going to happen!' The jobs would be all hands on deck, months and months of hard work then suddenly, almost from nowhere.....It was done!

I'm pretty much exhausted of energy, I feel I have really pushed hard on this current project, many technical challenges have arisen and all have been overcome and it's about to start taking shape 👍

I'm already looking forward to 2024 and what it has in store for us as a company.

Bespoke Stargate - Adult Safety
A client contacted me in despair as her husband had fallen down their stairs and hit the radiator at the bottom. He was lucky that the damage to his body wasn't life threatening but it was way too close for comfort.

My brief was a complete stairway safety system for the top of the stairs, the design had to be modern, strong, sympathetic to the existing stairwell handrails and have a double locking system.

I measured up and took pictures of the existing stairwell then came up with a design in CAD, once I had scaled the area I designed the intended installation in 3D and then presented the design and quotation to the client.

The entire project was built from the ground up from selection of lumber right through the the stains, waxes and handrail paintwork.

The client was over the moon with the installation and feels that she can keep her husband safe knowing he cannot accidentally take a 1st left instead of a 2nd left when visiting the bathroom through the night.

*Bespoke Safety Stair Gate Set*
I've completed a bespoke set of safety railings and gate for the stairwell of a client of mine.

A labour of love indeed but waxed and sealed it will serve my clients for many years to come.
