We’re down in Bristol for a few days, trusted with decorating work at the beautiful home of some good friends of ours from The Old Rectory Hotel.

It’s always great to catch up with familiar faces, and we’re really grateful to be trusted with their beautiful home. 🏡❤️

✨ Hall, Stairs & Landing Complete! ✨

Another transformation completed by P&D Decorating 🎨

The hallway, stairs and landing have been fully refreshed, including the frames, skirting and panelling finished in Lea Green from Crown Paints, creating a fresh and modern look.

The spindles and banister have been finished in white satin, while the stairs have been stained in Jacobean Walnut for a darker, richer and more durable finish. 👌

A complete transformation that has really brought the space to life! 🏡✨

Exterior Prep Complete 🎨

A large exterior fully prepped and ready for paint!

There’s been a huge amount of preparation going into this one before the first coat of paint is even applied. Scraping, filling, sanding and getting the surfaces properly prepared to ensure we can achieve the best possible finish.

The preparation is just as important as the painting, and we’re putting the work in now to make sure the finished result looks its best. 💪🏼🎨

Another beautiful project completed! 🏡✨

We’ve just finished decorating this stunning farmhouse, giving the exterior a fresh new lease of life.

Our work included:
✔️ Full preparation of all surfaces
✔️ Painting all masonry with a high-quality breathable masonry paint
✔️ Painting all windows and windowsills
✔️ Repainting the plinth for a crisp, clean finish

The transformation has really brought this beautiful property back to life, leaving it looking fresh, smart, and well protected for years to come.

In between a project we are working on, we’ve been keeping busy helping out some of the neighbours too! 👌

The first gable has now been completed, with another one booked in for Monday. As part of the work, we thoroughly prepared and stained the barge boards in a beautiful Dark Oak finish. Before applying the masonry paint, the walls were treated with a fungicide wash to remove organic growth and ensure a clean, sound surface, leaving the property looking fresh and revitalised.
