Photos from an EV Charger install carried out yesterday. This was for a MyEnergi Zappi charger. These are great chargers with the added benefit of them being able to communicate and work alongside Solar systems.

As all new circuits require cover by an SPD (surge protection device) and type A RCD, many EV chargers may require a new sub board to be installed. In this case the customer was looking to upgrade their consumer unit at the same time so were able to add the EV charger into the new board we installed.

Lawson Electrical recently completed a 14 panel solar system install in Leigh-On-Sea. This was for a newly renovated house where requirements for solar were made by building control for the final sign off. The customer was keen to make their newly renovated house as economical as possible regardless of the requirements. They therefore opted for as many panels as possible with a hybrid inverter to allow batteries to be added at a later date.

As the customer was having the roof of the house completely re-done the customer chose a GSE integrated panel system. GSE integrated panels are a type of solar panel that is installed directly into the roof of a building. They are designed to blend in with the roof, to make the panels look as inconspicuous as possible.
