🧱 1st Floor Garage Build 🧱 – Spalding

We recently completed this 1st floor garage build in Spalding, Extending on top of the existing garage and creating a new comfortable bedroom, big open landing area and a practical study.

The project included all aspects of construction — structural steel work, brickwork, blockwork, roofing, plastering, carpentry and more — along with a new lower roof over the porch to replace the old existing one. Interior finishing was completed to ensure the new rooms blend seamlessly with the rest of the home.

Attention to detail throughout the build ensured a high-quality result that maximises both comfort and functionality.

A great example of how an open space above a garage can be repurposed to add real value and usable living space to a property.

A beautiful project we took on involving taking down the old conservatory, building the new extension with a parapet wall extending above the new flat roof and knocking old existing walls down. Installing new steels to the old outside wall and a steel for the internal wall which was taken down. All opened up and plastered throughout. A stunning finish with a big open space for the kitchen and dining area ready to entertain.

Here is a project we took on involving taking down a conservatory, building the new extension and knocking old existing walls down. Installing new picture frame steels for where the old outside wall was and steel for the internal wall which was taken down. All opened up and plastered throughout creating a big open space for cooking and entertaining.

Here we have another extension in Spalding, all the way from digging the footings to nailing on the last bit of skirting board. We have enjoyed every stage of this project. Even building the extension wall so tight against the fence from the inside over hand was challenging but enjoyable 😅

A job we completed a few months ago. Windows removed and back door removed, blocked back up and new bifolds fitted. 2 walls removed inside and 2 RSJ steels fitted in place to open up this lovely kitchen space. New electrics throughout and plastered. A big transformation as you can see from the before and after photos.

From putting the 1st digger bucket into the ground all the way through to the final trowel across the wall this has been a pleasure to build. Now the customer has a large room/play area and an office/study.
