Staines Lammas Band are a thriving community brass band based at Staines Lammas Park in Staines under the baton of our esteemed MD, Tariq Ahmed. We are made up of 24 amateur players, many of whom play for other local contesting bands. We are an extremely friendly, non-contesting and sociable band w
hose main aim is to rehearse enjoyable music together and promote this at our regular engagements. We play a wide range of music, from traditional brass band marches to classical, film music, modern and pop music and everything in between! We welcome amateur players of all ages to come and join us. We rehearse every Tuesday evening, 8-10pm at our purpose built bandroom in the grounds of Staines Lammas Park (TW18 4XZ). We are currently seeking a 2nd baritone, a Bb Bass and a tuned percussionist to complete our line-up, but all new players are welcome to come and join in a rehearsal and see if we could be the band for you.
