Another quality render transformation completed in Gawsworth, Macclesfield.

This property has been fully re-rendered using the EWI Pro system with a 1.5mm silicone finish.

The existing render was thoroughly inspected and found to be solid and well bonded, so rather than removing it unnecessarily, we mechanically fixed where required before applying a full basecoat and reinforcing mesh system across the entire property.

Once the surface was fully reinforced, we applied premium 1.5mm silicone render finish, providing a fresh modern appearance along with excellent weather resistance, flexibility, and long-term durability.

By retaining the sound existing render, we reduced waste, avoided unnecessary disruption, and delivered a high-quality finish that will protect the property for years to come.

Another external wall insulation system completed here in Buxton using a full 100mm EPS insulation system finished with a premium silicone topcoat.

This property was losing a lot of heat through the external walls, so we mechanically fixed and adhesively bonded 100mm EPS insulation boards across the full elevation, reinforced the system with mesh and basecoat, then finished it with a breathable silicone render.

Silicone topcoat is ideal for areas like Buxton due to the weather exposure — it’s water-resistant, flexible, breathable, and helps prevent algae and staining over time while still allowing the building to breathe properly.

Not only does the system massively improve thermal performance and energy efficiency, but it also gives the property a clean, modern finish that will last for years.
