We’re delighted to introduce the newest (and furriest) member of Team Chinthurst… meet Arlo 🐾

Ben and Claire welcomed their golden Lab puppy home last week, and he’s already proving himself to be an excellent addition to the business. On his first site visit, Arlo quietly supervised as the team distributed 40 tonnes of soil at one of our new build projects. He took his role very seriously… pausing only for a few well-earned belly rubs (and the occasional power nap on the job).

After the incredibly sad loss of their beloved girls, Bella and Lilah, over the past year, it felt like the right time to bring some new paws into the mix. Arlo has some very big shoes to fill, but he’s already filling hearts just as quickly.

No doubt you’ll spot him in the design studio from time to time — client meetings may now come with a side of tail wags and puppy eyes.

A look at one of our latest utility room designs, soon heading into production ✨

This scheme balances hardworking practicality with thoughtful detailing. Full-height cabinetry frames the space, concealing generous storage and integrated appliances, while warm brass accents and a statement stone splashback elevate the everyday.

Opposite, a bespoke bench seat creates a beautifully considered boot-room moment — complete with open cubbies, upper cupboards and a softly lit, textured back panel with brass hooks. Practical, yes — but designed to feel calm, cohesive and intentional.

Every joinery project we take on is tailored entirely to the home and the way our clients live. Using our in-house CAD, we develop detailed layouts, elevations and realistic 3D visuals, so every element is resolved before production begins.

The first stage of our Polyconcrete stonework is now in place at our Leisure Wing Project, completing the gutter detailing and tying together the roof’s weathering elements seamlessly.

This innovative material offers the perfect balance of form and function — lightweight, efficient to install, and visually indistinguishable from natural stone. Every detail has been considered, right down to custom tinting the mix to perfectly match the existing stonework of the home.
