They paid for new sash cords… but got CONNED instead! 😡. Paid for new sash cords. So why were the old ones still there? 👀

This older couple called us after their sash cords broke, just a year after paying another company to replace them.

But when I inspected the windows, the cords appeared never to have been changed. They’d been living abroad and trusted someone to do the job properly.

This is exactly the sort of thing that gives our trade a bad name.

💥“Your builder fitted the wrong sash cords”🥽 These sash cords were replaced by a builder at some point, but they’re far too thin for the weight of this window. Thin cord frays and wears through, and when it goes, the sash drops without warning and the glass can smash. That’s a real risk to anyone opening or closing it.

We swapped them out for the correct gauge cord so the window runs smoothly and safely again.
