Our London office recently showcased how innovation translates into real business impact across disciplines and topics including engineering, digitalisation, technology development and the energy transition. At Innovation Days 2026, our teams demonstrated solutions designed to improve performance, reduce risk, enhance efficiency and shape more sustainable projects for our clients.

More than 250 attendees engaged with the exhibition, expert talks and immersive VR experiences, while conversations throughout the event reinforced the importance of collaboration and practical innovation in the global energy sectors, and beyond.

A huge thank you to our clients, suppliers and the local community, including students from local schools and universities in the Borough of Sutton where our office is located, for joining us and contributing to so many impactful sessions, and our Subsea7 colleagues who made the event possible.

Indonesia’s growing deepwater ambitions were at the heart of discussions at Indonesian Petroleum Association - IPA Convex, where Subsea7 engaged with clients, suppliers, peers and the next generation of industry professionals, to showcase how we can support the next phase of energy development in the region.

Chris Ratajczak, VP Asia Pacific for Subsea7, joined industry leaders in early plenary sessions to discuss how projects can be delivered faster, safer and smarter.

At our booth, we showcased the assets, capabilities, collaboration and experience Subsea7 brings to its support of Indonesia’s energy ambition.

Visitors learned more about key resources including our vessels, and in-region facilities such as Bintan spoolbase which was brought to life through dynamic presentations. We also celebrated our local identity with special Batik clothing for all of our attending team members, which was designed by an Indonesian artist.

Thank you to everyone who connected with us — we look forward to continuing these conversations and supporting Indonesia’s energy future.

Subsea7 has been awarded a substantial contract by Vår Energi for the Goliat Gas Export Project in the Barents Sea, offshore Norway.

The project will enable gas export from the Goliat field to the Hammerfest LNG plant through the existing Snøhvit pipeline system.

Our scope includes engineering, procurement, construction and installation. Work will begin immediately from our Stavanger office. Offshore operations are scheduled for 2027 to 2028.

This is the first contract awarded under our new strategic partnership with Vår Energi. It marks an important step in strengthening our collaboration and delivering value together.

At the Indonesian Petroleum Association - IPA Convex 2026, on May 20, Christopher Ratajczak, VP Asia Pacific, will share his perspectives on “Technology Driven Innovation to Advance Project Development” during Concurrent Session 1, drawing on Subsea7's 50+ years' experience delivering projects across Asia Pacific.

The session will highlight emerging offshore technologies, digital strategies and the role of collaboration in accelerating development, reducing risk, creating long term value for offshore project delivery in Indonesia - and how Subsea7 is making possible the delivery of complex offshore solutions.
