Not the right season for this however - They were putting a hottub under it! So its perfect!

Very simple pergola straight ontop of the patio with a effective timber privacy fence and an EPDM flat roof.

Due to the increased demand for chimney rebuilds due to them causing leaks or structural worries with debris falling from roof height and even causing damp inside from water ingress, we took on a few to bring them back to life and safe again.

Take a look at your chimney and if you have any concerns.

This one had damaged bricks due to the mix being too strong and caused the bricks to spall. The lead was also causing a problem and leaking into the loft conversion.

Another eaves protection package.

We get asked to do alot of these, they are cost effective, add ventilation to the loft space, also with eaves trays and over facia vents. On this one the client asked for new fascia and barge board as the old felt was not doing its job and eventually rotted the timber.

Love doing these!! - Really cost effective way to improve your home's efficiency.

I was asked to come look at the property due to a leak and damp issues. It didn't take long to find the problem. Due to such a short head lap and some broken tiles this roof was not water tight and causing damage to the ceilings inside.

The property was suffering from damp issues and was in desperate need of some ventilation and eaves trays, as all dew and condensation was tracking back inside of the property causing a number of problems.

These cost effective upgrades to your roof really help with the efficiency of your home. Provides ventilation and ensures any driven rain is correctly discharging into the gutter without the risk of it tracking back.

We also ran some new gutter in and gave the fascia a much needed clean!

This bay flat roof and eaves course were suffering from all sorts of trouble. Once we stripped the old felt on the flat roof, it became evident that more work was required to get this roof back functioning correctly. We knew we had a job on our hands to get this roof back to being water tight, adequate ventilation and free from rot while also making it structurally sound.

Full strip of the fascia, soffit, gutter, flat roof and even the feet of the rafters. this had a complete make over with all new structural timber installed. all nicely tied in and now free from wood rot giving it an extended life span.

this was the most work i've had to do at the eaves of the roof, we even upgraded the joists to ensure it was fully structurally sound. Once this stage was done we carried out our normal eaves protection service, felt support trays, over fascia vents to aid in ventilation then finished with breathable felt before putting the slates back on.

Unfortunately I didn't get as many pictures of this as I'd of liked. Especially the inside and the finish.

Rotten window repair

This lovely timber stained window was in danger of major repair work.

Firstly I had to fix the roof as this was the cause of the rotten sill. Clear all the rotten wood out, treat, peice in a new bit of timber. Treat, paint and wallah.

Restored back to its former glory. Looking fantastic.

Loft Insulation, flooring and loft ladder.

This loft was a complete mess. Insulation just thrown around, in hope that it might be doing something. The eaves were suffocated with rockwool just stuffed in there causing big damp problems below.

Removed, cleaned and rearranged current insulation, added more then gave it some flooring. I was itching to give new insulation but I had a budget. The flooring was more of a priority.

Then added a bigger loft ladder, I had to cut and strengthen the ceiling joists to take new load.

Now they have ample space for them boxes and christmas decorations, along with a roof space that performs better.

Garage build!

This garage was an eye sore prior to starting, it was completely unsafe. Trees had to be taken out and groundworks needed before we could even start with this.

With a great design in place, this is now a fantastic space for the client.

Used as a diy area, fully insulated roof and office, bespoke set of stairs built from nothing but structural plywood and timber, a small window either side of the gables, lovely fibre cement slate roof and a roller garage door installed. Perfect upgrade!

We also built a retaining wall out the back with steps to ensure a safe entrance.
