This Bournville bathroom has a clean, contemporary spa aesthetic with a warm minimalist feel. The overall design balances crisp modern lines with softer natural textures, making it feel calm, airy, and intentionally uncluttered.

Style
Modern minimalist: The simple geometry of the freestanding tub, floating-style vanity, and large-format flooring creates a sleek, understated look.
Boutique hotel / spa feel: The uncluttered surfaces, recessed lighting, plants, and deep soaking tub make it feel relaxing and luxurious without being flashy.
White subway tile wainscoting adds subtle texture and keeps the room bright and timeless.
Warm wood vanity introduces contrast and prevents the space from feeling too clinical. The slatted front adds a refined, designer touch.
Soft grey stone-effect flooring grounds the room and complements the cooler tones.
Freestanding tub acts as the focal point, giving the room a high-end, serene atmosphere.

It all starts with imagination.

Over in Handsworth Wood, this mother/daughter combo had a dream to finally turn the bathroom into their unique sanctuary. The room was in a very poor state and had endured numerous sub-standard make-overs. Cold, damp and bleak were the first and lasting impressions.

The outcome boasts a modern and minimalist style that combines sleek design elements with a sense of warmth and natural textures. The use of clean, simple lines in the furniture, such as the floating white vanity unit, with tasteful underlights, creates a dash of modern, and airy feel. The freestanding bathtub adds a touch of luxury, offering a focal point that enhances the overall calm ambiance of the space.

The earthy tones of the green tiled walls add depth and texture, complementing the LVT floor that balances the more modern elements with a natural, organic vibe. This is further accented by the strategic use of plant life, (foliage forever!) both on the floating shelves and along any appropriate surface, which brings a sense of life to the room and adding that touch of nature.

The clever use of light plays a key role in the bathroom's welcoming atmosphere. The warm light under the vanity unit creates a soft glow, enhancing the space without overpowering the rest of the room. The large mirror above the sink reflects the light, making the space feel even larger and more open.

Just completed! This fantastic new kitchen space for a busy family in Alvechurch. Complete strip back to brick, all new wiring, insulation, pipework, plaster. Glorious 30mm quartz, luxury Samsung appliances, gorgeous LVT flooring to name a few of the features. Full supply and total project management made this a smooth glide into Christmas for us both! As if that wasn't enough, we also completely overhauled the bathroom too!

FRIDAY FLASHBACK!
2021. This was a lovely freshen up for a mum-of-three in Northfield. The goal is always to get it looking as good as the designs, but in this case we think it looked way better! The existing ceiling had been lowered and really loomed into the room making it dark and gloomy. All stripped back and ceiling back to the original height, it was freshly plastered throughout, smart large brick-design tiles, minimalist feel, practical tall storage unit, patterned LVT flooring and glorious gloss wrought-iron radiator to pack even more style-punch and a cheeky niche in the shower.
