✨ Celebrating Women into Construction Week! (2-8 March) 🚧👷‍♀️✨

At the Construction Support Partnership, we are proud to support some incredible women breaking barriers and thriving in the construction industry through the ECO in Work Support Programme, funded by CITB. 💪

From apprentices to professionals, we’ve worked with women that continue to inspire and lead the way, proving that construction is for everyone. Today, we honor the strength, passion, and determination they bring to the field.

Let’s keep pushing for a more inclusive and diverse workforce in construction 🙌

Today we are at Tamworth, supporting carpentry apprentices on their journey to a fantastic career in construction!!

It is amazing to see how passionate they all are and we can't wait to see the bricklaying apprentices this afternoon.

Hey everyone! 👷‍♀️👷‍♂️ We know it's been a while since we've posted, but we couldn’t let today slide without giving a shoutout to something awesome happening at Moulton College 🚧

Check out this sign for Women into Construction—a great initiative to encourage more women to join the industry and break down barriers in a traditionally male-dominated field. It's so important that we keep pushing for more diversity and representation in construction.

Let’s continue to support and celebrate the incredible women who are helping build the future—whether it’s with a hammer or a hard hat, they’re making a real difference! 💪

We had the pleasure of visiting some incredible new bricklaying and carpentry apprentices today, introducing them to project and how they can be supported. It was inspiring to see their enthusiasm and dedication as they start their careers in this essential field.

What made the day even more special was meeting a group of women pursuing a carpentry apprenticeship – a rare and powerful sight in a traditionally male-dominated sector. Their passion and skill are paving the way for a more inclusive future in construction!

The Construction Support Partnership visited Barratt & David Wilson’s new bricklaying and carpentry apprentices at Stephenson College in Leicester this week, promoting the project and discussing the support available to them. This college truly blows us away every time!

We would like to say a Big Thankyou to South Staffordshire College - Cannock College and all the team who are doing an amazing job in progressing Apprentices in Construction towards their future career aspirations.

We had the opportunity to speak with all bricklayers and carpentry apprentices to raise awareness of the support available through the Construction Support Partnerships in-work support project funding by the CITB!

We had a brilliant day visiting the Guild of Bricklayers in Midland Section Qualifier today at Cannock College.

We would like to say well done to everyone who took part, it was a fantastic day and it was great to see how passionate each and every competitor was.

The sun is shining in Shrewsbury ☀️

The Construction Support Partnership have visited some of Barratt’s bricklaying apprentices on a lovely new site in Shrewsbury today, it is amazing to see how well they are doing.

This project is funded by CITB to attract, train and retain employees that are working in the construction industry.

This week we have had the opportunity to visit Barratts bricklaying apprentices who are also being supported by The Construction Support Partnership.

We had the opportunity to speak to tutors and catch up with the apprentices whilst also trying our hands at bricklaying!

The facilities are fantastic and the apprentices are doing an absolutely amazing job and are progressing well. The apprentice's have their end point assessments coming up in the next few weeks and we want to wish them the best of luck!!

We attended the CITB’s Best Practice & Achieving Success conference in London, we had the opportunity to showcase our success with all ECO and S**O partners funded by the CITB.

It was an amazing day to be a voice for the construction industry, to work towards making successful changes for the future.

Our aim is to support construction workers in attracting, training and retaining individuals within the industry.
