Another very un-interesting picture for today, but, what we’ve got here is a selection of LOXONE’s royalty free radio stations.

Quite a few of our clients have a public space in which they play music, so just another way we’re able to save them some money in the long run.

Definitely not the most interesting picture for a Friday, but the logic, hardware and text alerts like you can see here, give our clients the chance of getting ahead of a potential issue.

With this instance, they have a Biomass boiler in a remote building which heats a commercial swimming pool. We’ve got the metering information (including flow temperature) with a warning that if it drops below a certain temperature to alert all relevant people (including the maintenance team).

Using LOXONE like this essentially cuts down reaction time by about 4 hours as previously it was customers letting staff know the pool felt cold.

Can you see that little LED dot on my LOXONE Touch Nightlight?

Well that is my “something is not as it should be” indicator. Just before bed, it’s a quick visual warning for me to check the app and see what’s going on and what is out of place.

For this example, the door to the Hay Barn had been left open (which now the rain has finally started failing could have been an issue) and the horse electric fencing was still off. Although it was get back out of bed and close the barn door (the electric fencing is on a Nano Air Relay), it does give me (and my clients) easy piece of mind.

A quick LOXONE interactive board I put together for the Oakwrights open day back in July. On this panel I also showcase how traditional switching can interact with a smart home using a retractive toggle by Corston Architectural Detail.

So smart home and complex control in the background, user friendly, intuitive switching for the client and their guests (especially grandparents).

Version 2 should be finished shortly where I’ve added a Touch Pure Display (Loxone’s touch screen switch in a 1G form factor).

A client trusted us with his bespoke Aston Martin artwork to add a touch of flare with headlight, brake light and frame lighting.

It’s not always complex lighting and smart homes but sometimes it is!

Working on a small home cinema for a good client of ours with a BenQ UK 🇬🇧 projector, Sonance surround speakers and subwoofers. Thanks again to Habitech Limited for the help in the background.

Using the Home Acoustics Alliance software makes the planning stage so much easier!

Sometimes we’re designing luxury home cinema’s, sometimes it’s taking a fairly complex problem and creating an easy and intuitive front end so anyone can use it.

This is an example of the latter. External lighting control at an industrial facility where a single switch and LED indicators let you know what the lights are doing.

Here’s the fun part:
- lights are timed and dusk/dawn controlled (Auto Setting)
- 1 click gives the yard lights a 30min on boost - the software then returns the lighting back to Auto
- 2 clicks turns the lights off
- and if someone turns the lights on after a set time - security get a text message so they can check the Work Schedule and investigate as needed

Had to be a LOXONE installation!
