Finishing off the week with this stairwell lighting upgrade and emergency back up ⭐️⭐️

The old lights weren’t giving off enough lux with a few stopped working and with the emergency failures during a recent Emergency Lighting test, seemed right to put some better and brighter 600 by 600 surface panels in.

A slightly different challenge with this consumer unit upgrade. Due to the size of the newer three phase consumer units, fitting it in the original cupboard was tight, but just had a few mm to spare 👌🏼 much needed upgrade with additional circuits being added in the near future along with the triple pole upfront surge protection ⚡️🌩️

After carrying out an Electrical Installation Condition Report for this customer, a few things flagged up that required updating/ repairing.

With the new 18th edition consumer units being a-lot bigger than this old one we had to relocate out of meter cupboard. Now up-to date with RCBO and Surge protection and a satisfactory report 👍🏼✅
