Did you know you don't need solar panels to benefit from battery storage?

A lot of people assume batteries only work alongside solar, but that's not the case.

If you're on an off-peak electricity tariff, I can install a battery storage system that charges overnight when electricity is cheaper. During the day, your home can then use that stored energy instead of drawing electricity from the grid at the higher daytime rate.

The great thing is that because the battery has been charged overnight, it can power your home throughout the day – even on cloudy days when solar generation is low, or if you don't have solar panels at all.

For many households, this can be a great way to reduce electricity costs without installing solar panels.

Battery storage systems need to be installed by a qualified electrician with the appropriate knowledge and experience to ensure they're designed, installed and commissioned safely and in line with current regulations.

Every home is different, so I'll always take the time to understand your electricity usage and recommend whether battery storage is likely to be worthwhile. If it isn't, I'll tell you.
