West End Barn near Blackawton. This project started life as a dilapidated metal agricultural barn which received a change of use through Class Q. It’s now a low-energy 4 bedroom family home. I’ll post some more about Class Q, this being the second new-build that we’ve created through this planning route. It’s also the second project I’ve designed which has been built by South Devon’s - their attention to detail is second to none. Highly recommended.

It was a nice evening last night so I headed down to in Dartington to see the 6 pods we designed and built a couple of years ago through our small-building wing, Mokki. As with our garden buildings we used CNC-cut plywood to create the internal panels and all the interior fittings like shelves and bunk beds. A fun project and the pods are proving very popular with customers I hear.

Revisiting a small project I did back in 2017 - an annexe within the grounds of the listed Old Parsonage in Tigley. I’d actually forgotten we went for this corner window. It certainly gives the building a modern twist.
