Looking into solar? Watch out for this one red flag.

If someone is rushing you into a system and simply saying, “Yeah, a 3.68kW inverter will do,” without properly explaining why, it’s worth asking a few more questions.

In some cases, a 3.68kW inverter is absolutely the right choice. But not always.

We still see systems being designed around avoiding additional DNO paperwork, rather than what is actually best for the customer long term.

There’s very little point having a large solar array capable of producing lots of energy if your inverter cannot properly utilise it.

A good solar design should take into account your electricity usage, future battery storage, EV charging, heat pumps, possible expansion and long-term performance.
