✨ Another week finished nearly finished✨

This week we’ve completed another partial bathroom renovation 🚿, and another is almost complete with just the final finishing touches left to do 🔨.

When we started AKKA Premium Plumbing & Heating, we could only hope people would put their trust in us. Seeing our diary filling up, customers recommending us to their family and friends, and watching the business continue to grow is something we’ll never take for granted. ❤️

Every bathroom we work on is someone’s home, and we genuinely care about getting every little detail right. There have been early mornings ☀️, long days 💪, plenty of problem solving, and more cups of coffee than we can count ☕, but standing back at the end of another week and seeing what we’ve achieved makes it all worthwhile.

To every single customer who has chosen us, recommended us, shared our posts, or simply supported our journey… thank you. 🥹 It honestly means more than you’ll ever know. Supporting a small local business makes a bigger difference than most people realise, and we’re so grateful for every single one of you. 💙

Now it’s time to switch off, enjoy some family time 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦, and recharge before another busy week begins.

It’s a new week, and it’s nice to slow down a bit.

Every experience teaches you something.

As a business, we’re always learning, adapting and improving. Because of that, we’ve been making a few changes behind the scenes to make sure everything is clear from the very beginning, for both ourselves and our customers.

We believe clear communication and the right processes help avoid misunderstandings and keep everyone on the same page.

Running a small business isn’t always easy, and like anyone, we have good days and challenging ones. But every experience helps us grow, and we’re committed to taking those lessons forward to make AKKA even better for our customers.

It’s all part of growing the business the right way, and we’re excited for what’s ahead.

To all of our customers,

We just wanted to say a huge thank you for your patience and support.

Arthur is working incredibly hard at the moment, often putting in long days, late evenings and even giving up parts of his weekends to make sure jobs are completed to the standard we expect. We know some of you are waiting for smaller return visits or final finishing touches, and we want to reassure you that nobody has been forgotten.

As much as we’d love to be in two places at once, there’s only one Arthur on the tools, and every customer deserves the same care and attention. Rather than rushing from job to job, we’d much rather take the time to do things properly.

If you’re waiting to hear from us or for us to return for a final visit, thank you for bearing with us. Your patience genuinely means a lot to our family and our business, and we promise we’ll be with you as soon as we can.

What a week it’s been. 🤍

This time tomorrow it’s Kayley’s hen do, and in just a few weeks it’ll be Arthur’s turn for his stag do. Then before we know it, we’ll be saying “I do” in just 9 weeks today. It still doesn’t quite feel real.

Building AKKA while juggling family life, work and planning a wedding has been one of the biggest challenges we’ve taken on, but it’s also been one of the most rewarding.

One thing we’ve learnt is that no one can decide where someone else spends their money or who they choose to trust. People will always make that decision for themselves, and we genuinely respect that. Whether someone chooses us or another local business, that’s entirely their choice.

All we can do is be ourselves, work hard, stay honest, care about every job we take on and be grateful to everyone who puts their trust in us. That’s how we want to build AKKA, and that’s how we’ll continue to do it.

To everyone who’s welcomed us into their homes, recommended us to family and friends, or simply followed our journey from the beginning, thank you. Your support means more than you’ll ever know, and we’ll never take it for granted.

This weekend we’ll be swapping work boots for dancing shoes (well… at least Kayley will! 😂), making some memories before it’s Arthur’s turn in a few weeks, and then the final countdown to our wedding really begins.

💙 A little update from us…

If you’ve noticed we’re a little slower replying to messages this week, we just wanted to let you know why.

Kayley has been feeling unwell all week (some sort of flu that had her floored since Monday) and has now come down with an ear infection since last night, and hasn’t been coping very well with it, so replies are taking a little longer than normal. She also completely lost her voice for a while (thankfully it’s starting to come back now! 😂), so it’s been a bit of a challenging week.

As a small business, Kayley looks after all of the admin, messages, bookings and quotes while myself Arthur is out on the tools, so we really appreciate your patience and understanding while she gets back to herself.

I don’t think people always realise just how much she does behind the scenes. Kayley works full time for the NHS, doing 12 hour shifts at the hospital, and she somehow still finds time to answer messages, organise bookings, send quotes and keep everything running smooth.

This business wouldn’t run the way it does without her, and seeing her try to keep everything going while feeling so unwell has made me appreciate her even more. I’m very lucky to have her by my side, both in business and in life. ❤️

We’re still here, and every message will be replied to as soon as possible. Thank you so much for your continued support, it really does mean the world to us. ❤️

☀️ A little summer reminder from us…

We know heating is probably the last thing on your mind while you’re enjoying the warmer weather, but summer is actually one of the best times to get your boiler serviced.

Having it checked over now means you’re much less likely to run into any unexpected problems when the colder months arrive, and you can avoid the autumn rush when everyone suddenly remembers they need their heating back on.

As a small local business, we genuinely appreciate every customer who chooses us. Whether it’s a boiler service, a repair or a full installation, we treat every home with the same care and respect we’d want for our own.
