We are a leading Repair and Maintenance Specialist working within the Highways and Rail Sectors. We are now recruiting for Highways Operatives to work on Bridge Deck Waterproofing and Joint installation schemes. Experience preferred but not essential. We work all over the UK, so the ability to work away from home is essential.
Responsibilities:
Initially the role will be to assist in the preparation of the area, using hand tools, organising material, and helping prepare the areas for our installation process. After training, you will be involved in installation of joints and waterproofing, adhering to our safe systems of work at all times.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Relevant CSCS Card - essential
• Experience in/ and Bridge Deck Waterproofing and Expansion Joints - desirable
• Excellent practical, problem solving skills
• Attention to detail "right first time" ethos
• Ability to work well in a team environment

To support the South East Alliance Community Christmas Appeal, Metrail set up a collection point at their offices for food donations during the month of November. Everyone here at Metrail got behind the appeal, and the goodies kept rolling in throughout the month, so much so that we were able to send Don Sutton on his way yesterday, with his truck full of tinned goods, dried goods, toiletries, and other essentials, together with some treats, Christmas cakes, boxes of sweets and selection boxes, as it is Christmas after all! These will be making their way to The Trussell Trust for distribution. We’d like to thank the SEA for organising this appeal and inviting us to help make a difference in the local community.
