The Community Spark Project is an Arts Council funded community outreach project. It aims to engage people in the South Lakes to the performing circus arts. In the project you are invited to attend a series of FREE active workshops (Aug-Sept) in fire dance, fire fans, hoop dance, poi dance, face-painting and costume making and then create a light show together. You will be in a supportive safe en

vironment amongst a playful relaxed community, learn new skills and empower yourself through performance.

Meet some of The Community Spark Project circus crew. We have been on tour the last 3 weekends finalising with a fire show at BUPA residential home, Penrith. Such a special enchanting evening. We got to know the residence as we transformed into our characters in the day room :) Face-painting mentored by Kezz Turner .
