Help please repost! You may have seen that we are renovating a bungalow, the owner has asked us to halt works for around a week and a half while the header tank in the loft is sorted, kitchen pipes tidied up etc, windows are installed and some plastering work is completed. If anyone needs any decorating, carpentry, doors replacing/rehanging, floor laying (can supply also) or sockets moving/adding pronto - please drop me a line! I could do with this time being filled, I dare say there isn’t a single person on here that hasn’t seen the quality of the work we do 🙊 07377417720 also if you’re a plumber near Coalville and you have faster availability than “some time next week” - please let me know!

Day 5 hasn’t been edited yet, my eldest son says my music choices are rubbish so he wants to do it 🙄 hopefully you’ll get day 5 and 6 over two videos tomorrow

Day 4 of the bungalow! Lots of work done on the glass doors for a top notch premium finish, all the cracks in the rooms and filled except for around the windows which are soon to be fitted.
Gary removed the last of the worktop, the sink and the cabinet and also the carpet in the hallway and the skirting boards and finally finished removing all of the adhesive on the floor in the kitchen ready for a drop of compound in the odd hole here and there.
The sparky and the window fitter are also in towards the end of the week so we may need to be out if the way for them to work. Then the flooring in the conservatory can go down...👏👏👏

We have had a poorly Ollie over the last couple of days, slow day today as he’s supposed to be back to school tomorrow and we are back on the bungalow!

We popped back to one of our other projects to finish fitting the hardware and architrave to the door and silicone the new worktops while he had a little kip on the recliner in the conservatory 🤣 Here’s how the project has gone so far! Just paint to go!

We started with taking the tiles up, screeding the top half of the kitchen which was uneven concrete. We had to SDS drill the adhesive up a LOT, especially over the lower floorboarded section.

Client also wanted to update her worktops, sink, tap, door to her conservatory, hood over the oven and all her socket and light switch plates.

We will be back to paint the walls - what colour would you go with? I'm thinking a green hued white? Thoughts? The conservatory next door is a minty green, the HSL is also going to be
painted.

Day 3 of the 2 bed bungalow! We had a lovely day out with the kids yesterday at the Midlands RAF museum! Today we are soldiering on without them 😕 today we drywall sanded the back bedroom, filled the walls, sanded again, filled again and sanded again! All cruicual prep for painting. And! Hubs bought me a fantastic Q-Tech paint sprayer for day and a ! Hes a keeper!
