Radiators transformation in Maidenhead!

We recently tackled a common but tricky issue in this lovely Maidenhead property: old, inefficient radiators that were hidden away in bulky boxes.

The Problem:
These old radiators were leaking and losing efficiency because the decorative boxes they were in were actually trapping heat. Not only were they not performing well, but the boxes also created a dated, clunky look.

Our Solution:
Removed the old: We carefully took out the radiator boxes and disconnected the old, leaking radiators.

Repaired the damage: The walls and floors behind them were on a bad state, so we repaired, prepped, and painted them to perfection.

Upgraded the style & performance: We fitted sleek, modern column radiators. These not only look fantastic, but they also offered a more pleasing view and provided far more efficient heating!

The result is a stunning transformation that proves you don't have to sacrifice style for warmth. Now, the home is both beautiful and comfortably heated.

Our holiday in Kyrgyzstan, last week, was epic! 🇰🇬
Mountains everywhere (80%+!), endless hiking & horse riding.
Loved staying in exotic yurts, Tried their natural hot springs, and swimming in there clear mountain lake (felt like the sea!).
Canyons were stunning.
Loved the Food: Fruits, nuts, teas and a lot of meat!
What a week!

Full Upgrade of Heating Controls!!
One more interesting example of a heating control upgrade.
The challenge of this retrofit project was to allow the client to control all his different types of heaters in one single app.
Here is the list below:
- 2x Wet UFH manifolds
- 7x Electric UFH controls
- Timing the 4x towel rails
- Timing and temperature of the Hot water cylinder
- Immersion heater electric switch
- Smart TRVs to control 15x radiators separately

This new control system will help the client to distribute the heat properly to where it is necessary, and reduce energy costs.
