Bespoke wardrobes are always a pleasure to make!

Love bringing the most out of a space in a room, especially ones that have awkward parts to it!

This is all made from moisture resistant mdf from Sydenhams, finished off as a shaker style, with some lovely looking handles from howdens.

It’s been a busy few weeks 😮‍💨

First off we’ve had some solid core fire doors to fit in a residential care home in cowes, these are howdens fd30 rated doors, beauty about these doors is that they can be cut down to any size needed and still be compliant to fire regulations 🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫

So any odd sized frames can be catered for!

Then back to the palm court hotel over in Shanklin, which is now really looking amazing and ready for bookings! Had the task of using a single bed frame and converting it into a sliding bed to go under a bunk bed frame already installed….. bit of a challenge and head scratcher but I found a way to accomplish the task set before me.

Then started the next big WOW job….. got the old wardrobe space ripped out and ready now for IOW Empire Electrical & Security Services to go in and move some cables and get some first fixing done, before we go back to commence carcass construction….. this is going to be a big one!

Back on the doors 🚪

Got a few projects lined up over the coming weeks which all revolve around fire and standard internal doors…..

But the ones below are the howdens holdenby range, oak unfinished, then finished with osmo door oil give them that wow factor!

Also fitted in a boiler cupboard, just completes a kitchen and hides away that pipe work to!

Love the look of herringbone flooring?

Well we do ‼️

This is natural oak lvt from howdens, let me say having to lay it backwards at one stage was quite a task! But so happy with the outcome, this was done for a repeat customer in east cowes, finished off with brand new skirtings throughout the hallway to really finish it off.

Need an idea to renew an outside area💡

Completed a job for a lovely repeat customer is cowes!!!!
I was asked to lay these click style decking tiles, these are available from ikea, very easy to cut and lay over the top of any existing finish.

Even had a solid wooden outdoor table to belt sand down ready for a refresh paint job.

‼️ 🚪 🚪 🚪 ‼️

This week we fitted 6 pre finished oak doors, these are the pre finished Daytona oak doors available from Howdens…..

I think they look absolutely 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻

Had to put these beautiful doors into a flat in ryde where the owner decided to re new all the doors in the flat.

More doors to come in the next few weeks! Plus maybe something a bit more special next month 🤫

This week has been more bespoke units.
Made from moisture resident mdf, with a solid pine tops, this also included pre made matchstick cladding as backing for the build in shelving units above.

Right hand side included 2 cubby style spaces to house logs for the log burner in the middle.

Looking forward to seeing this one fully decorated ❤️

What this space as the next weeks are going to be very door heavy posts!

‼️Sneak peak ‼️

This week I have been working for Ben Williams Consultancy Ltd, installing a lovely piece of live edge ash worktops, to create a bespoke bar area in their new hotel, soon to be open on our beautiful island.

It was amazing to be given the opportunity to work with such an amazing piece of hardwood, that goes in such a prominent place within the hotel, please visit their Facebook and instagrams to see the final reveal….

But for now it’s a secret 🤫

This week was a bespoke unit job……

All the way out in sunny merstone working for some repeat customers, this has been booked in for quite some time, this was made up of moisture resistant mdf units, two matching hand made shelved units with log storage either side (one now to house the subwoofer for the tv), then reclaimed scaffold boards, which were belt sanded down on all sides, to give the boards a new lease of life! Used these for shelving and as worktops on the units.

This week was a finishing week on last weeks big bespoke wardrobe project, plus starting the next big one….. a kitchen! Watch this space for the reveal next Friday of a howdens fitted kitchen.

So this was a big one…….

Been quiet the last couple of weeks, we’ve been extremely busy putting together this masterpiece of a bespoke built in wardrobe.

This project has included;

🟡 Sound proofing a wall that backed onto a kitchen to reduce noise flowing through a masonary wall ✅
🟡 Designing and building two seperate spaces on top of each other, over head storage and wardrobe below ✅
🟡 Creating a bi fold 2 + 2 opening using oak doors supplied from howdens ✅
🟡 Making the over head storage doors out of the same door below (a lot of work went into remaking them) ✅
🟡 Using Osmo door oil to really make those doors 🤩🤩🤩🤩 ✅

Happy customers, now onto the next project

Did someone say treehouse?!

Was asked to make a bespoke raised platform in a garden in cowes for an amazing family.

This one definitely had my inner child doing somersaults at the prospect of designing and building such an amazing structure.

Still to be added is a runged ladder at the back to allow little scamps to gain a quick access, plus a mesh rope climbing wall at the front to provide a more challenging climb!

Any small persons dream am I right?!

Looking forward to seeing this all finished in its full glory!
