My name is Andy Berry, and I’m the Director of Berry Electrical Services UK LTD — a company built from hard work, experience, and a genuine passion for delivering high-quality electrical and renewable energy solutions across the UK.

Like many business owners in the construction and electrical industry, my journey started on the tools. Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience across domestic, commercial and industrial sectors, working on everything from small electrical repairs to large-scale compliance contracts, solar installations, maintenance schemes and renewable energy projects.

From day one, I wanted Berry Electrical Services to be more than just another electrical contractor. I wanted to create a company that clients could genuinely rely on — a company known for quality workmanship, honesty, professionalism and strong customer relationships.

What started as a small operation has grown into a respected and trusted business working with landlords, schools, commercial clients, healthcare environments, estate management companies, housing associations and homeowners across the region.

Passion for Renewable Energy

One of the areas I’m most passionate about is renewable energy and helping businesses and homeowners reduce their energy costs whilst improving sustainability.

Through our renewable division, Berry Solar, we have developed extensive experience in designing and installing solar PV and battery storage systems for both domestic and commercial clients. From small residential systems to large-scale commercial and social housing projects, we take pride in offering tailored solutions that genuinely benefit our customers.

What separates us from many companies is that we keep our design, technical knowledge and project delivery in-house. We understand the importance of designing systems correctly, ensuring installations are compliant, efficient and financially beneficial for the customer.

WHN Annual Charity Golf Day 2026 ⛳

What a day! This year marked the closest finish in our 18-year history, with the top two teams having to be separated by not one but two countbacks!

A huge congratulations to WGM Project Building & Consultancy, who took the win with an impressive 98 points in challenging rainy and windy conditions. DNA Insulation pushed them all the way, achieving the same point total of 98 and only narrowly missing out after the countbacks.

They were closely followed by Berry Electrical Services UK LTD on 95 points and Leonard Curtis on 92. Some excellent scoring!

This year’s event was again held in support of Rossendale Hospice, and it was great to have their team with us on the day.

Following the successful award of a new 4-year contract covering electrical compliance testing, remedial works and maintenance across a local school trust throughout Greater Manchester, Berry Electrical Services UK LTD are now looking to expand our team.

This contract is another fantastic milestone for our business and continues to demonstrate the trust being placed in our experienced engineers and management team to deliver high quality electrical compliance and maintenance services across multi-site environments.

As a result of this continued growth, we are actively looking for qualified electricians to join our team.

The role will involve works across a variety of educational settings throughout Greater Manchester, including:
