To meet fire regulation requirements, our heavy duty door is fitted on double action hinges and is designed to strike the panic bolt on the fire door and push it open, i.e. the screen door opening through the fire door in the same direction. This therefore offers ventilation at key locations, but still retains a quick and easy exit from an emergency point
