And breathe… Adrian's walk for peace is back at home in the upper Dale!! After a marathon trip that involved three trains, he got into Darlington an hour ago! He came from London via Manchester and Leeds..
Thanks everyone for your concern. I hope everyone else who has attempted rail travel has arrived home safely.

Day 13 completed of Adrian's walk for peace. He is now in Bletchley, soaked to the skin but in high spirits as the end rapidly approaches.
Tomorrow, the walk will see him into Luton, on the outskirts of the capital city.
Today, Adrian Smith spotted what he thought was the worst Christmas tree ever, I think it’s genius!!
His tea tonight didn’t look very appetising at all. Don’t worry, Adrian. I’ll be there in London on Sunday and will treat you to the best Sunday dinner ever!!!

Day 13 of Adrian's walk for peace and it’s peeing down. Another day of getting wet ahead for Adrian Smith but he’s rapidly approaching the end of this marathon walk and in great spirits.
He’s on his way for an overnight stay in Bletchley, presumably near Bletchley Park, the home of the wartime code breakers.
Then on to Borehamwood tomorrow and then towards his target of Whitehall on Sunday. Anyone who lives in London is urged to go there around 12 noon to welcome him in…

Day 11 of Adrian's walk for peace sees him leaving Quorn for Market Harborough, almost 20 miles.
He’s dried out and hoping for a rain free day after being soaked to the skin yesterday.

The end of Day 9 of Adrian's walk for peace sees him wet, cold but happy at reaching Nottingham and probably around half way to Whitehall!
He slipped over on the snow and popped his knee back into place and is now drying his trainers - yes, training shoes(!!) - on the little radiator in his stop over place!
He says he’s rarely felt fitter and is preparing for Day 10 tomorrow.. walking to wherever he manages to get!!
Thank you for all of the messages of support, he reads them all…

DAY 7 of Adrian's walk for peace. He left Leeds an hour ago and is heading towards Rotherham, passing Barnsley. It’s very cold and his knee is painful but not too painful to stop him obviously!!!!
He’s well on his way to the first 100 miles point…

Day 6 of Adrian's walk for peace and it doesn’t stop because of the snow, unlike the trains!!
He has already set off from Knaresborough heading for Leeds….
He should have taken a sledge!!
