Back to work sooner than I thought 🙈🙈

This landlords boiler was condemned by an emergency callout engineer the tenants called as the heat exchanger failed on this 15 year Ideal!

Bosch!! New Worcester Bosch Greenstar boiler fitted and all back up and running! Was a slight bit warm running the heating to test it, 🥵🔥☀️.

8 year warranty! Zero worries! Annual maintenance booked in going forward!!!👊😬

📣 Back to work shortly 📣

Afternoon everyone and hope you all had a fantastic bank holiday!! What awesome weather!!

I made the most of it by washing the fleet, including the van again, even though it’s not been used, however it had some dust on and my OCD was offended!! My neighbours think I’m mad 😂

🎀 Lily is now a month old and is still behaving exceptionally well! With Jess able to drive again in 2 weeks the plan is for me to get back to work part time for the next 2 weeks to reduce the back log that’s built up!

I massively appreciate your patience whilst I have had quite a long paternity leave!!

So if you need me please feel free to call or whatsapp etc and I will book you in, on a side note I have had to turn on my phones spam filter due to excessive spam calls! Around 20+ a day! So if for any reason it doesn’t go through message and ask me to call you.

🎀 Little Miss has Arrived!! 🎀

Well it’s certainly been an interesting few weeks at work, and finding out Jess needed to be induced early certainly caught us both off guard a bit!

📣 Lily Olivia Farah was born at 01:12am on the 28th April 2026, weighing in at 5 Pounds 2 Ounces!

Slight delay in posting on here as Jess and Lily had to stay in hospital for a couple days, to make sure everything was ok, especially as she is smaller. However we got the full MOT and had no problems!

Jess is doing great, I am so proud of her and how well she has managed with everything that she has also been through with checks etc.

So very thankful to my friends, Paul, Jason & Lucian, they also helped me with the garage conversion as I was suddenly up against the clock!

I have been doing the conversion to make space for Lily’s nursery in bedroom 2, meaning I still now have an office downstairs!

Anyway here’s a massive update, and obviously at 3am after her feed 😂 I am now off to get my 7 hours kip!

Many thanks and I will be driving a lot slower now and probably at Costa Coffee even more than I already am 🤣

Evening!

It’s safe to say that week off has flown past!

The last 3 meters of my garage has now officially been built!! Myself and 2 friends took the week off to attack it.

The list was huge, with brickwork done, stud walls fitted and insulated, door frames installed, electrics installed and spotlighting added, flooring insulated and screeded, fire alarm wiring fitted, wifi access points and Ethernet points all fitted!

I can assure you it’s safe to say that I am looking forward to getting back to boilers!🤣

Plasterer booked in for next week with all walls, block-work and ceilings being skimmed. The floor screed needs to dry fully before flooring can go in which will really finish the room off!

Back to normal now until little miss arrives around mid May 🍼 so please call if you need service work/repairs or a new boiler so I have as much notice as possible!

Many thanks and will update with a finished picture of my office and what the second bedroom nursery looks like once panelled and decorated! 🤩

Good evening!!

Somehow another month has flown past and we say goodbye to February and hello to March!

Work has been full steam ahead as we edge ever closer to the due date of our Daughter in mid May!

I have organised some cover whilst off, however please do still call me, I may well come out if Jess and baby are asleep in the daytime etc! 🎀

Have done some pretty cool work recently so here’s a few jobs below.

Due to start work on my own place soon converting the back part of my garage to an office space in preparation for little miss arriving and us still needing an office.

💗 A Little Personal Announcement from SOS Gas Services 💗

We’re excited to share some lovely news — myself and my partner Jess are expecting our baby girl, due around mid-May 🍼✨
Safe to say, we’re very much looking forward to welcoming our newest trainee plumber to the family! 😉

With this in mind, I’ll be taking a short period of paternity leave around May, so availability during May and June will be slightly reduced.

👉 If you’re due a service, boiler work, installation, or any planned jobs around this time, I’d really appreciate you getting in touch sooner rather than later so I can get you booked in and avoid any disruption.

Evening!!! What a week!!! 🫣

Right before Christmas, 2x Ideal Icos boilers decided to leak, far from ideal!!

New Worcesters in all ready for Christmas, heating and hot water restored! 🎅🎄

Both 8 Year warranty, Zero stress!! 👊

Good evening all!!

I have absolutely been snowed under with a few massive installs, forgotten to take pictures of a few of them due to late finishes etc,

Also had to cut off a boiler today too putting fumes into the clients property due to a hole in the case! 😵 New boiler lined up for Tuesday!

Here’s a couple of the jobs I have done though, the warehouse boilers took 3 days as the original 38 year old boilers were sat on loose bricks, installed with undersized gas, and just timers, meaning massive gas bills!

Couple more installs to get in before Christmas!! And a lot of repairs and services!

Evening!

It’s certainly boiler season!! 🙈

One very long day today, Removed a leaky old Isar Combi. Installed a Worcester Greenstar Combi, filter kit and fitted with new Hive heating controls, plus a new towel rail in Rooksdown!

8 Years warranty. Zero Worries!! 👊

If you think your boiler is on the blink let me know asap, I am running out of full free days this side of Christmas 😳
