Where have we been for the last 6 months?
Very busy.
We’ve been working across the country on a number of specialist coastal and marine projects, including works within sensitive and restricted areas in partnership with key public sector clients.
For obvious reasons, we’re limited in what we can share but we’re proud of what’s been delivered.
In Dorset, our team has been involved in the repair and renewal of slipway infrastructure, including the installation of a bespoke reinforced beam and barge board system. The project required temporary sheet piling from our client to safely gain access within the tidal zone, careful demolition of the existing structure, void infilling, steel fixing, concreting, over-pumping and various associated marine operations.
Environmental care remained a priority throughout, with measures taken to protect marine life and minimise disruption during the works.
Alongside this, we’ve been down on Boscombe Beach renewing the groynes either side of the pier, continuing our involvement in strengthening and maintaining vital coastal defences.
Further afield in Cambridgeshire, we’ve been progressing residential developments, undertaking drainage installations, road formation, plot clearance, foundations, block and beam floors, and utility trenching. It’s been great to support these schemes from the ground up and help bring new housing infrastructure forward.
Coastal defence, marine civils, and residential groundworks six months of varied, challenging and rewarding projects.
Proud of the team for their continued hard work, adaptability and professionalism on every site.
