Last week, we took part in Global Wellness Day, a worldwide initiative dedicated to promoting healthier, more balanced lifestyles and encouraging people to take time for their wellbeing.

To mark the occasion, we spent time painting small plant pots to grow succulents, followed by enjoying a selection of fresh fruit together. It provided a great opportunity to slow down, be creative, and have meaningful conversations about what wellness means to each of us.

A simple yet valuable reminder of the importance of taking time to focus on our health and wellbeing.

Last week, Vigilant Security took part in a joint patrol alongside Project Servator, a policing tactic designed to disrupt a wide range of criminal activity, including terrorism, while providing a reassuring presence for the public.

Project Servator’s works by strengthening partnerships between the police, local communities and businesses such as ours, helping create a network of vigilance that encourages the reporting of suspicious activity. This collaborative approach has proven highly effective in gathering intelligence that has assisted Counter Terrorism operations.

During the patrol, our team received a valuable demonstration of the behavioural detection techniques used by officers to identify, investigate, and deter hostile reconnaissance activity.

Participating in initiatives like Project Servator enables Vigilant Security to further enhance our operational capabilities, strengthen our situational awareness, and continue delivering a professional reassuring presence within the communities we serve.

đź“„ 100% digital operations- all processes, procedures and communications are fully digitalised, making us entirely paperless!
♻️ 100% of our uniform is now recycled or reused, with high quality items like suits donated via our charity partner to help the long term unemployed return to work, while the rest is transformed into boxing bags, cushions and other useful household items.
📉 We have achieved a 160kg reduction in waste over the past year.

We are proud to announce that Hazem Alaliaoui has been awarded the 2026 ACS Pacesetters Security Officer of Distinction Award, recognising outstanding professionalism and contribution to the security industry.

On 28 January 2026, while on duty at the Brunel Building in Paddington, Hazem showed exceptional professionalism and bravery during an incident involving an armed intruder attempting to steal a bicycle. Through effective CCTV monitoring, calm coordination, and clear communication with colleagues and police, he helped protect the public, prevent the suspect from entering a busy area, and assist in identifying the offender. His actions were formally commended by responding officers.

This award reflects the high standards and commitment to excellence that Hazem brings to his role every day. His achievement is also a proud reflection of Vigilant Security's dedication to delivering professional, proactive security services and keeping people safe.
