BUT WE DO NOT WANT A NEW ROOF- was the response before the explanation. Now Aintree could have patch up, re used 1980 ‘s interlocking tile, found colour match for rear dormer, not renewed the gutters, put plastic fascia/sofit on, breather vent to inter locker as per drawing. “Just to win a Job”
However the home and road deserved more.
-desirable location
-period property
-40 year old failing roof to which under felt will not breath correctly for new insulation air flow.
-large sections would need to be removed for construction, new valley, hips to meet engineers specification.
-savings on steels/calculations for steels and complete beams can be installed.
-leave failing lead bays to front elevation.
The explanation was valid and the out come delivered.
-new Marley machine made clay plan tiles, Haris hips, decorative bonnets, on breathable felt.
-hardwood fascia and sofit, to dormer & rear, existing sanded filled painted black.
-front elevation painted black.
-large velux over stair well
-grained sliding sach windows
-new gutters
-new lead bays.
Would you have taken Aintree’s advice ?
Thank you to all the Team
