The PHD Access Group are pleased to announce their Hoist & Mast Climber division has partnered with the construction hoist division of Irlequip Ltd, accelerating PHD Access’ entry into the Irish Hoist & Mast Climber market.
Through this strategic partnership, PHD will acquire a substantial number of Alimak hoists, significantly expanding and modernising its mechanical access fleet across Ireland. The collaboration enables both organisations to share resources, expertise, and operational coverage, ensuring enhanced service & support to existing and new customers nationwide.
Commenting on the acquisition, Gerald Slattery, PHD’s Mechanical Access Lead, said: “This move places our mechanical access business in an exceptionally strong position in Ireland, with one of the newest and most advanced hoist fleets in the market. We are incredibly excited about participating within the robust Irish Construction sector and see many opportunities therein. We are already working closely with Team Irlequip, and long may this continue.”
