STUBBINGS BROS LTD is a fantastic example of why we love supporting local businesses!

Shanklin Carnival’s towing vehicle, which was parked at the time, was crashed into in the early hours last weekend by a drunk driver, leaving the team without a vehicle for the remainder of the carnival season.

The Newport Carnival team spoke with Stubbings Bros Ltd, who have supplied us with a towing vehicle for the past 16 years. Without hesitation, they offered to support Shanklin Carnival by supplying a towing vehicle for the rest of the season while their insurance claim is being resolved.

This is just one example of the fantastic community spirit we have here on the Isle of Wight, and how a local business can make a huge difference to small, volunteer-led organisations.

A massive thank you to Stubbings Bros Ltd for stepping up and helping out when they were needed. It really is appreciated! ❤️
