Wonderfully situated in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, our beautiful cottage enjoys stunning views over Upper Wensleydale. Thought to have been built around 1810 Dales View used to be two miners cottages. Over looking the dale for all those years, not a great deal has changed.Ahh the good old days...

Recently modernised with all the charm and character you would expect from a dales cottage. Oa

k beams, log fires and much much more. Lovely and cosy sleeping up to six people in four bedrooms. Super king-size room, king-size room, double room (classed as a single for agency reasons but actually a double) and a single room. Main bathroom with shower bath, WC, WHB. Shower room with shower WC and WHB. Oil fired central heating and log burner. Ample private parking for up to four cars. Mountain bikes can be safely stored if required. Dogs welcome

Walk in every direction from your doorstep. Walks that go up hill, walks that go downhill (and then back up again) Walks that are flat and easy. You name it you can find a walk to suite your abilities. Popping out for some fresh air walks or the super challenge of the "Three Peaks Of Yorkshire" just minutes away by car. Beautiful waterfalls following the River Ure such as Aysgarth Falls and Redmire Falls. Also less well known falls waiting for your discovery. Winter breaks are spectacular...sometimes more rain is best! Come and enjoy.

I didn`t know that the Yorkshire Dales were in France...it appears that they are though!!

Should be a fantastic event and right on our doorstep. Judging by this map you will be able to see the riders from the cottage garden!! Or you could wander a few yards down the road and see them face to face.


Come on Wiggo!!.......I can`t wait!!!

This years batch of swallows nesting in the old garage. Four in total I think. Apparently they will soon be big enough to fly to South Africa and cover up to 200 miles in a single day. Clever little things!
