🔑 Save your money! Try this before calling a locksmith
Hey neighbours! Just wanted to share a quick tip!
If your front door lock is acting "glitchy," sticking, or being stubborn with the key, don't call the locksmith just yet. # # # 🛠 The 2-minute fix:
Before you pay for a service call, try spraying a little lubricant into the keyhole and on the latch.
• What to use: While regular WD-40 works in a pinch, many locksmiths recommend WD-40 Specialist Silicone!
• The Result: Usually, it clears out the friction and makes the lock turn like new!

Hi all, unfortunately there has been a rise in reported local burglaries of which I am sure you will be aware of from social media. Some of these have been where the culprits slip open UPVC/composite door latches that have not been double locked with the key, if you have one of these mechanisms please remember to lift the handle to throw the locking bolts and TURN THE KEY TO LOCK THE BOLTS IN PLACE, you can usually do this from inside and outside your property (depending on the unit you have), if you do not do this the mechanism is only locked via the latch only, hope this helps, regards, Lee @ Mentor Lock.
