Roof transformation completed in Wylam 🔨🏠

The client wanted to create a vaulted ceiling to give the bathroom more space and allow more natural light into the property.

Work carried out at the property:
:- stripped the old roof off
:- fitted new breathable under felt and new battens
:- refitted all existing slates back onto the roof
:- supplied and fitted 2 new Velux windows
:- fitted new lead flashing up the walls

The bathroom roof is now ready for the vaulted ceiling and the new Velux windows will allow much more natural light into the bathroom ☀️

Another quality roofing project completed in Trimdon.

We stripped off the old roof which was well overdue for replacement, as it was the original roof on the property.

Work carried out included:
• Full strip and removal of the existing roof
• Supplied and fitted new breathable underfelt and treated battens
• Installed new Double Roman roof tiles
• Fitted all new lead flashing
• Installed a new dry ridge system and dry verge system
• Removed all rubbish and left the site clean and tidy

Small job completed on Hylton Road in Sunderland after recent bad weather caused damage to the felt shingles on the front of the dormers.

We stripped the old shingles away and found the boards behind had become rotten. These were replaced, and new white PVC shiplap cladding was fitted to give the property a fresh, clean look and long-lasting protection.

New roof completed in Billingham, Teesside on a rental property that had been suffering from mould on the upstairs ceilings.

The client had previously been advised to install roof vents to solve the issue, but after our inspection it was clear the roof itself was in poor condition and required a full replacement.

Work completed:
✔️ Full strip of the existing roof
✔️ New breathable underfelt and battens fitted
✔️ New Double Roman tiles installed
✔️ New lead fitted around the chimney stack
✔️ New dry ridge system installed
