🎅 Santa Run 2025 🧑‍🎄

This year the WRFC Santa Run is again kindly sponsored by Marcus Smith of MS Heating.

We will be raising money for the “Willand Guides” to contribute to their educational adventure trip to Switzerland in Summer 2026. The trip is being led by the 5th Exeter Guides and will include 7 leaders and 16 girls from Willand Guides.

The schedule for the event is:
10.30 am – Junior Santa Run: 1.0 miles (Once around the pitch, out of the club back gate, up Orchard Way, down Jaycroft, onto Orchard Way via the park, through Cherry Close, B3181 and back into WRFC through the front gate.)

11.15 am – Adult Route: 3.0 miles(up Silver St, down Station Rd, Lloyd Maunder Rd, B3181 past the Esso Garage, through Willand Old Village and back into WRFC through the front gate.)

Entry Fees: £6/Adult, £3/Juniors.
A Family run pass is £15 (up to 3 Juniors & 2 Adults)

There are prizes for the Best Dressed Adult Santa and the Best Dressed Junior Santa so dust off those Santa Suits and come along in your festive attire!
Joining the Santa Run is easy – simply complete the tear off slip on an entry form (that can be picked up at the club bar) and return it together with your entry fee or email Catherine Dinner at [email protected] or telephone her on 07775 550436.

Evening everybody, we are having technical issues with our phone lines and this morning it was estimated to be fixed by 11pm tonight, it has now changed to a due repair of Thursday 26th May at 11pm.
We have spoken to BT tonight and there is nothing we can do to try and rectify our phone lines. Therefore if you are trying to contact us, please do ring the emergency number of 07887930570 where our lovely secretary Julie will still be able to answer all of your calls between the hours of 7.30-4pm. We are recruiting.... MS Heating are looking for a fully qualified plumbing and heating engineer to join our team. They will be required to carry out all aspects of plumbing and some heating works. We undertake a variety of work on a daily basis from basic plumbing works, woodburner installs, new boiler installs, boiler services and landlords, new build full plumbing and heating systems and much more.
