Well Done to Alex and the entire team at Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust working on the Lowton Ward refurbishment.

It was great to read the feedback from Joanne the Ward Leader! These are challenging short turn around projects to refurbish wards and get them back in use as quickly as possible.

Another successful NICEIC Annual Assessment achieved, well done to our Compliance team and Qualifying Supervisors. Is a nice alignment that in 2026 we are in our 80th Year and the NICEIC are in their 70th Year. Heres a throwback to our original application in 1964!

🏆 Congratulations to Max Smith, our first Apprentice of the Month!

Max is a fourth-year apprentice in our Projects Team and has received consistently strong feedback from his supervisors. He has been particularly recognised for showing initiative, working independently, taking ownership and approaching every job with pride.

These qualities are a fantastic example of the Thompson Way in action.
Max has received a certificate and a £25 tool voucher in recognition of his achievement.

ur Super Sparks Alex and Alex had a fantastic time with Mr Motivator a few weeks ago raising funds for his Bed Bank Charity for the Rise Framework They raised an additional £295 on top of the company donation of £350! £350 is enough to provide one bed for one child so it would be great if anyone feels like dropping a couple of extra £££ into the donation pot so that we have covered two beds! Well done Alex and Alex I am sure Mr Motivator was impressed by your moves!
