End of season cricket pitch renovation!

From preparing the surface to getting the seed down, every stage matters:

Remove the existing surface
1-Key the surface ready for seeding
2-Blow off and clear the surface
3-Apply seed using a drop seeder and spinner
4-Apply a layer of quality loam
5-Drag mat to work everything in
-Finish with fertiliser

The right preparation makes all the difference when it comes to establishing a strong, healthy cricket wicket.

This week we worked alongside Raven Environmental Pest Control to create trenches for the installation of rabbit proof fencing 🐇🚜

Using our turf tyre tractors, we were able to cut clean, accurate trenches with minimal ground disturbance, leaving a far tidier finish than a digger and the perfect base for Mitch to install the fencing.

Last week we were busy installing the primary drainage for a pitch construction project. We're doing this on behalf of one of the UK's leading housing developers, Shelton’s drainage machines are making the job super efficient. Sheltonsdrainage

This week we commenced the drainage installation on a new sports pitch construction project for one of the UK's leading house developers.
Following the site preparation works completed last month, including total spray treatment and power harrowing, our team has now begun installing the primary drainage network. These primary drains form the backbone of the drainage system, providing the foundation for one full-size sports pitch and one 7v7 pitch.
We're looking forward to sharing further updates as the project progresses through to completion.

End of Season Renovations

One of the busiest times of year for the Elite team as we work hard to recover pitches across the South West

-Verti-draining to relieve compaction
-Topdressing to restore levels and encourage healthy root growth
- Overseeding with our Vredo disc seeder to regenerate the playing surface

Creating stronger, healthier pitches ready for the new season ahead.
