APL AWARDS 2027 – DOUBLE FINALISTS! 🏆

We are absolutely thrilled and incredibly proud to announce that J Freeman Builds Ltd has been selected as a finalist in TWO separate categories at the prestigious Association of Professional Landscapers Awards 2027! 🌿

With hundreds of entries across each category, to have not one, but TWO of our projects recognised amongst the very best in the industry is a huge achievement and something we’re immensely proud of.

🏆 The Circle Garden
🏆 The Estuary Garden

Both projects represent an incredible amount of hard work, dedication, precision and attention to detail. From the initial concept through to the finished masterpiece, these gardens are a true testament to what can be achieved through passion, craftsmanship and collaboration.

A huge thank you to our incredibly hardworking team, along with our talented colleagues Jason Shirley of Jason Shirley Garden Design and Jeremy at Gunton Pools. These projects have been a real collaborative effort, and we’re extremely proud of what we’ve achieved together.

To be recognised at this level, across two completely separate award categories, means an enormous amount to us.

We can’t wait for the APL Awards 2027 in London next March! 🥂🏆

Millimetres Matter. Consistency Is Key.

🎃 DON'T LET GARDEN DESIGN COSTS GIVE YOU A FRIGHT THIS HALLOWEEN! 🍂

Thinking about transforming your garden but worried about the cost of using a professional designer?

You might be pleasantly surprised! 👻

Autumn is actually one of the best times to start planning your dream garden, giving you time to get everything designed, costed and ready for next spring and summer. ☀️🌿

As an independent garden designer, I'm not tied to any landscaping company. That means you can take your finished design to different contractors, compare quotations and choose the right team for your project and budget.

Whether it's a small courtyard or a complete garden transformation, professional design could be more affordable than you think!

🍁 Design now. Build in spring. Enjoy in summer.

I've written a new blog explaining why now is the perfect time to start planning and how independent garden design gives you greater choice and control.

Another great 5 star review from this amazing project in Stock, Essex. 'We were lucky to be introduced to Jason ahead of a full house and garden refurbishment. From the initial questionnaire as to our preferences, through to the final design, planting and lighting preferences, Jason has been superb. the transformation in our garden is outstanding and it feels twice the size it was before we started any works. Jason also assisted in the purchase of a vast amount of hedging and plants, all with transparent pricing and good discounts. The outside space now eclipses the house refurbishment and we would have no hesitation in recommending Jason (and James Freeman as the contractor) to anyone considering investing in their home and garden'
