A fun little test patch of a very old, delicate carving - an advantage of using micro-stripping (more commonly referred to as soda-blasting) is the range of abrasives we can use for cleaning, as well as the ability to adjust the air and the abrasive pressure. This flexibility allows us to remove the many layers of paint while leaving this beautiful carving intact and ready to be assessed for repair.
