🏡 REAL HOME. REAL COMFORT. OUR OWN 8kW SAMSUNG HTQ HEAT PUMP! 🔥

We’ve installed an 8kW Samsung HTQ air source heat pump in our own home, and we’re delighted with it:

✅ A warm, comfortable home
✅ Plenty of hot water
✅ So comfortable, I even wore shorts while working from home at the end of October
✅ Our gas supply has been capped, so we no longer pay a gas standing charge!

For us, it’s about more than installation. We’re enjoying the comfort, experiencing the technology first-hand and sharing our honest experience with customers.

💷 DID YOU KNOW YOU COULD GET HELP WITH THE COST?

Eligible homeowners in England and Wales may be able to access the Boiler Upgrade Scheme:

🔥 Up to £7,500 towards an air source heat pump

🔥 Up to £9,000 if your using oil or lpg

Grants are subject to eligibility and scheme requirements.

As a family-run business in Bewdley, Worcestershire, we install renewable heating systems we trust — including in our own home!

🏡 Thinking about replacing your gas or oil boiler? Get in touch with Eco-Wright Energy to discuss whether a heat pump could be right for your property.

One small recommendation: before posting, make sure the grant wording reflects the current Boiler Upgrade Scheme eligibility rules. The £7,500 grant is generally available for eligible air source heat pumps replacing fossil-fuel heating, including gas and oil, while the £9,000 grant is associated with eligible ground source heat pumps — not simply all oil-to-air-source installations.

WE STILL HAVE SPACES

On March the 31st 2027 the £9000 government grant to swap your oil or lpg boiler will be reduced to £7500 and we still have limited spaces available to install before the deadline

We took a little break over the past 2 weeks and took a little drive over to Lake Bled to watch the at the World Masters Rowing Regatta who we sponsored (check out the bright kit) and in the words of the late Sir Bruce Forsyth “didn’t they so well”
Bewdley and Bridgnorth were also represented and we can’t believe the weather some of them went out in ☔️🌧️💧now we are back in the office so get in touch for and renewable heating needs!

No jokes and no snappy AI
A few weeks ago a potential client stated when referring to a quote they had not received yet
“But come on you inflate your costs because of the government’s grant”

We don’t! in fact we can’t as we are a husband and wife team that mainly depend on word of mouth recommendations from clients, if anything we have to make sure we are as competitive as the big house hold energy companies that have recently started installing heat pumps

So no we do not inflate our cost and do not plan to

📅 Thinking about a heat pump, MVHR or underfloor heating? Plan ahead!

As a small family-run business, we give every project the personal attention it deserves. That does mean we’re usually booked around 3 months in advance.

It’s completely normal for customers to contact us up to 6 months before they’re ready to install. We’re always happy to answer questions, provide budget costs and help you plan your project.

So if renewable heating is on your to-do list, don’t wait until you’re ready to start—get in touch early!

📩 We’d love to help.

Public Service Announcement (before the politicians make up their minds…)

If you’ve been thinking about a heat pump but have been putting it off with a “we’ll look into it one day”… this might be your sign.

Nobody knows what the future holds, but if there are changes in government over the coming years, schemes such as the Boiler Upgrade Scheme and other support for renewable heating could change or even disappear.

We’re not here to talk politics—we’d rather talk heating! 🔥❄️

If you’re simply curious about your options, want to know if a heat pump is suitable for your home, or just want some honest advice, now is a sensible time to ask the question.

No pressure. No sales pitch. Just straightforward advice from a husband-and-wife team who specialise in renewable heating.

📧 [email protected]

Better to know your options now than wish you’d asked later!

EnergyEfficiency

One small factual note: it’s best to avoid saying funding will stop, as nobody knows that. Wording it as “could change or disappear” keeps the post accurate while still creating a sense of urgency.

This weekend we’re proud to be supporting one of the 8+ crews competing at the Bewdley Regatta! 🚣‍♀️

As a local family business, we love getting involved in events that bring our community together. Sponsoring a crew is our way of supporting local sport and helping these fantastic events continue to thrive.

We’ll be spending the day by the river, cheering everyone on and enjoying the great atmosphere. Best of luck to all the crews racing throughout the weekend – we hope you all have an amazing regatta! 💙

If you’re heading down to Bewdley this weekend, enjoy the racing and let’s hope the weather is kind! ☀️
