Hearth House ~

We’re delighted to have received planning permission for a bungalow conversion in Wymondham, Norfolk.

Hearth House is a project that balances togetherness with independence - a sociable, future-proof and multigenerational space.

Our client wanted a home where the whole family could come together. The design creates a light-filled, open-plan kitchen and living space with clear views to the garden - perfect for watching grandchildren play. Alongside the busy family hub, we included a self-contained annexe for grandad to have his own quiet retreat.

Swipe for new and existing plans. More details to come.

Embracing a slow living lifestyle.

We designed Joiner’s House for a busy, creative couple wanting to live their best ‘retirement’ years now, not later. Together, we crafted a space that feels like an open invitation: a kitchen that flows to the garden where vegetables and herbs are picked fresh, an area for slow beers at sunset, and an open-plan layout perfect for spontaneous visits from friends.

More than just a renovation journey, it’s a transformation into the life they always imagined.

Clementine House ~ where design meets function.

Our kitchen project features custom, handmade English Oak veneered doors - not manufactured, but crafted with care and intention. There is a focus on clean lines, natural materials and functioning detailing throughout, giving this kitchen a contemporary aesthetic to elevate the everyday.

We’ll unveil more soon.

Introducing Spouges Café.

A space named in honour of Bob Spouges, the owner of a local shop who lived his whole life in Gunthorpe village.

We set out to create more than just a café, we wanted to build a place that feels like home; warm, welcoming, and rooted in local spirit.

Featuring our studio pup, Captain 🐕

A new chapter begins.

We’re proud to unveil our latest project: - a thoughtfully reimagined destination that blends the charm of the past with the warmth of the present.

Closed for over 16 years, The Anchor has now been lovingly brought back to life. It has been transformed it into a bright, welcoming space that remains deeply rooted in its history while feeling unmistakably contemporary.

Designed to be family-friendly, the space offers light-filled interiors that still feel cosy and intimate. You’ll find subtle nods to Art Deco - the era of glamorous boat and train travel - adding a layer of timeless elegance without overshadowing the heritage of the site.

The Anchor is now home to a beautifully restored pub, an inviting courtyard, a generous beer garden, a café concept called Spouges, an adventure playground and The Anchor Express. Visitors can also stay over in the guest house featuring four individually designed but cohesive bedrooms, blending countryside style with a boutique, lived-in comfort.

Community is at the heart of The Anchor, a warm and welcoming destination to gather with friends and family. It is a place to slow down and connect.

More than just a renovation, this project is a resurrection. We’ll be sharing some incredible before-and-after moments soon. For now, if you’re in Gunthorpe, be sure to visit this renewed space where history, hospitality, and design come together.

Huge thanks to everyone involved in turning this project around in 6 months!

Welcome back Tom Browns.

Last night, reopened its doors - reimagined and renewed. The space embodies quiet sophistication, weaving thoughtful details into every corner.

By playing with contrasts of light and shadow, laying rich textures, and selecting refined materials, an elevated space has been crafted that feels timeless.

If you’re in Nottingham, be sure to step inside and experience the transformation.

Thank you to all who brought this vision to life -

Circular design in action.

Choosing reclaimed materials isn’t just about character, it’s about conscience. By reusing, we reduce waste, lower carbon impact and give new life to materials that still have so much to offer.

Here we have a reclaimed kitchen being installed in the cafe area of our latest project

Let’s create spaces by reimagining what already exists.

There’s poetry in light.

This site visit reaffirmed our love for texture - not just as a visual element, but as a narrative. The light slides across surfaces, revealing a rough edge, an etch, a shadow, the tale of both past life and emerging potential.

Light doesn’t just illuminate, it amplifies. It reveals the truth in materials, the honesty in age, the integrity of craft.
