“ Mick Allan is an excellent, reliable, friendly handyman, who has done several very different tasks for me brilliantly, including restoring a wooden shed; installing a new gate; hanging pictures (he has a very good eye); changing a tap; re-siliconing a leaky shower. Just ask and he will tell you whether it’s within the range of his very wide skillset, and also give you good advice. Oh, and he knows all about bikes.

“ Mick has done a number of different jobs for me, fitting doors, handles, drawer fitting, glass roof and door repair. No job is too big or small, oh not hedge trimming though! All jobs have been done most expertly and cheaply. Most jobs were needed due to shoddy build, so they had been needed for 30 years! Thank goodness I heard of Mick! I have trusted Mick with my house keys (which are worth £70!). But also I should mention he is a good character to bounce ideas off, as he has so much experience at fixing things. He is patient, thorough and well mannered; a positive person to have in your house. He has made such an improvement on all aspects of the house.
