This week, the sun is strong and dry winds are expected.

This means that new turf will dry faster, leaving gaps in seams, and lawns may become stressed more quickly.

How to help:
- Irrigate the ground before laying turf
- Lay within 12 hours of turf delivery into the stockist or to your site
- Keep pallets shaded and start laying as soon as possible
- Press seams to reduce the chance of gapping
- Once laid, water deeply in the morning, topping it up in late afternoon if needed
- Skip heavy feeding until rooting improves
