Building this carport to spec with the exception of a few modern upgrades.
Installing ridge vent and eliminating a 28" round vent as well as bonding to the house differently. Setting a half truss on the preexisting 18" overhang on the house is a no Bueno.

Nothing gets the day going better than tearing a roof off a carport when the carport is slightly falling down 🤣😬

In an attempt to display completed work on a carport repair / structural repair the roof system was struck by pick up struck with a utility box on it, resulting in irreparable damage.
Today was my wrap up job day and I show up to see the roof system laying on the cab of a truck 🤦🤷
