Mixed media never really gives you the same result twice, and that’s the point.
You start with a direction, but somewhere in the process the work starts answering back.
A mark suggests the next one. A colour pushes you somewhere you didn’t plan to go.
Sometimes it feels like something is missing - and that’s exactly when it gets interesting.
You reach for charcoal on top of acrylic. Pastel over dry texture. Ink where it “shouldn’t” be.
And suddenly it works.
Mixed media isn’t about control.
It’s about knowing your materials just enough… to let go of them.
Play more. Mix more. Trust what happens next 🎨
