The Rental storage association Japan (RSA) hosted their 2026 Self Storage Biz Forum in Tokyo! Site visits, the conference and an awards night were all part of the experience. Representative Director Tokuo Yoshida and his Board put on a great event. We were able to get up close and personal with sites from Quraz キュラーズ　トランクルーム, Keepit (a Palma company) and 'my cube base' on the site visits.

For MEMBERS: If you would like site visit photos, award winner information or more info about the conference, the Japanese market or anything else, contact us directly.

In photos: Helen Ng, Tokuo Yoshida, Dan Morisaku, Yasuo Hagiwara, Raju Ruparelia, Shotaro Hattori, Andrew Work and many more!

If you run a self storage facility in Asia, how do your numbers compare to operators in other markets?

On 2 November at 4:00 PM HKT, Simon Neylan from our team will be joining the Self Storage Association Asia for a live session that looks at what 15,000 facilities can tell us about how tenants are using storage, where enquiries come from, and which technology operators rely on day to day.

What can Asia learn from 15,000 self storage facilities?

Join SSAA for an upcoming webinar exploring what data from one of the world’s most mature self storage markets can tell us about the future of our industry in Asia.

We’ll look at how customers are finding and renting storage, the growing role of technology and self-service, changing customer expectations, operational trends, and where Asia may be following similar patterns — or taking a different path.

The focus is simple: practical lessons for self storage operators in Asia.

If you’re an owner, operator, developer, new entrant, or part of an operations or marketing team, this session will give you useful benchmarks and ideas to take back to your business.

Register now to join the discussion.
