🏗️ Previous Project | Concrete Works

A look back at a project we completed a number of years ago for a private client.

Our team carried out all of the concrete works shown, including the reinforced concrete walls, internal dividing walls and concrete floor slabs, forming a strong and durable structure built for long-term use.

Projects like this are a great example of the type of concrete and shuttering work we’ve been delivering for many years.

Dolly has been an inspiration of mine for as long as I can remember — as an artist, songwriter, performer and a woman who has always unapologetically been herself. ❤️

Years ago she wrote and recorded a little song called Apple Jack… never knowing that one day, a girl from Glasgow would record it too and it would become the song so many people know me for. 🥹🍎🪕

I’ve sung it thousands of times since, and I’ll never stop being grateful for the memories and moments it has given me.

Funny how music travels and how a song can find a new home and become such a huge part of someone else’s story.

Thank you for the inspiration, Dolly… and thank you for Apple Jack. ❤️🍎

There will never be another like Dolly Parton 💔

Happy 4th birthday to our North Runway! 🎂

It took 1,200 workers around 3 years to build the 3,110 metre runway - officially called 10L/28R.

The first flight - a Ryanair (FR1964) service to Eindhoven - took off at 12.10 on 24th August, 2022, carrying around 200 passengers, including, interestingly, many Rangers FC football fans who were travelling via Dublin to see their team ultimately beat PSV in a UEFA Champions League qualifier. ✈️

PROJECT SPOTLIGHT | DUBLIN AIRPORT ✈️

A look back at one of our previous projects completed as part of the Dublin Airport North Runway Project.

Our works involved the construction of the reinforced concrete base and foundations for a specialist jet blast fence, designed to withstand and deflect the powerful exhaust generated by aircraft engines.

The project involved extensive shuttering/formwork, steel reinforcement and concrete works, followed by the installation of the blast fence system.

A great project to have been involved in and one that showcases our experience delivering civil engineering and reinforced concrete works in demanding environments.

Good progress on site 👷‍♂️

From groundworks and reinforced concrete works through to shuttering and steel fixing, the job is really starting to take shape. Great effort from the lads getting everything ready for the next stage.
