We in Aontú are challenging the Government on the relentless mismanagement of taxpayers money.

This must be a catalyst for a wider review of how Government is spending taxpayers money.

The Horkan family have shown tremendous courage in their quest for answers since the murder of Detective Garda Colm Horkan.

They deserve the full truth. I fully support their call for a public inquiry.

I will continue to fight for transparency and accountability. For the Horkan family, and for the Garda whistleblowers who raised concerns and have paid the price.

Why is the Government spending taxpayers money telling grandparents to second guess themselves before giving their grandchild a hug?

They won't ask you because they know you'd say no.

We cannot afford to let the nursing graduates of 2026 emigrate to Australia.

Detective Garda Colm Horkan was murdered on duty in Castlerea in June 2020. Six years on, his family still don't have answers.

Six days before Colm was killed, Detective Garda Eddie Connell was shot with his own gun. Both men were wearing the same Garda-issued holster.

It's alleged that a year earlier, a protected disclosure from inside the Garda armoury warned that the holster was defective.

It has been reported that internal emails at the time said it had "proved dangerous" and recommended taking it out of service.

I fully support the Horkan family's call for an independent public inquiry. The whistleblowers who came forward should be protected, not punished.

I am working with my colleagues in Aontú to use our Private Members' Business time in the Dáil to push for transparency for the Horkan family and the Garda whistleblowers.

Drug intimidation is in every corner of Ireland.

I've met families terrorised over debts they had no part in, and many are too afraid to report it.

We need a properly resourced drug squad, and full-time Garda profilers working with CAB to go after the middle men making the money and dragging children into crime.

Crime must have consequences. 1,600 people out temporary release in six months of 2026 makes a mockery of the system. We need a new prison.

It was a pleasure to welcome students and staff from St. Louis Community School, Kiltimagh to Leinster House.

They had a tour of the Oireachtas, and afterwards we had a great chat about politics and how the Dáil works.

Proud to stand with the hard-working men and women across Ireland today.

I remember a time when public sector workers like nurses and teachers could build a home and a future here.

Now those same people are struggling to get by.

People are under serious pressure.

The Government cannot ignore the cost of living any longer.
